I'll be flying United from SFO-Paris next week. Unfortunately, I'm at the back of the plane, literally.

It seems to me that United should directly copy Lufthansa's service (amenities, menu, food, beverage, flatware) and they'd have a top notch premium product.

It appears you had a nice flight on Lufthansa back to Chicago. The food looked ok for airline food ...... probably better than United but not anything exceptional. I've always liked flying on Lufthansa since they have comfortable seats and good service.

United’s Polaris catering and service standards are so tired. Personally I am bored with the blue tablecloths, slop entrees, and unprofessional FAs. How did you ask for the compensation for not receiving a PDB?

Despite the crummy service, at least United have started to serve the starter and entree separately and unlike European carriers you get a hot brekkie, even if it’s anemic looking sausages x

I'm guilty, when I was a flight attendant I've accidentally skipped passengers before! But it was usually because I spotted a situation in the cabin that needed immediate attention. Afterwards, I forgot what I was doing, lol! I'm sad they're not using my voice over anymore! My contract is ending next month and they got a lower bidder.

The inconsistency from UA is what gets me. Some FAs do PDB and even will get ur drink of choice if asked….. Others just refuse to do it saying that UA no longer does it and will get snippy if u even ask for it.

I don’t know if I told you but we had the WORST turbulence from LA to Melbourne. Bumpy all the way across the pacific! Stephen did not enjoy that 15 hour hell ride!

@0:53 ... Shoulder straps are there because you don't have a seat directly in front of you to hold onto in the event that you need to be in brace position for a difficult landing. At least that is my understanding.

I recently had a short transfer at Munich from a European flight to a longhaul, and it was a mess with poor signage and even a bus transfer. Very stressful.

Yeah... Euro "Business Class" I still can't believe they put up with it over there. I guess the idea is that they can reconfigure the plane quickly if they need to. 😂
